Hill Cottage, Alderley Edge
This early 1900s brick cottage had been altered several times over the years.
As the work was not particularly sympathetic to the original architecture, we were committed to enhancing the property features.
Part of the internal alterations incorporated the removal of two large chimney breasts located in the centre of the property. In order to preserve the character of the cottage, which is located within a local conservation area, internal steelwork now supports the rooftop chimney pots, allowing us to modernise internal living area without loosing the external character of the property.
